What Shops Should I Go To?

Many people, when thinking about Perth Street Fashion, instantly come to Culture Kings, or Hype DC. These are good shops, but not much people really know about the best stuff in the heart of the city. Today, I’m going to be telling you a bit about my three main favourite shops.

One of my favourite shops is not too far out of Hay Street Mall, so you can walk over there after you’ve checked all the stuff out. This shop is located on King Street and while not as famous as Gucci, the quality is what got it there. This shop is called Highs and Lows and isn’t just located in the city. Highs and Lows is a little tucked away shop, neighbouring a barber and a small cafe. While the shop itself is small they have a large range of brands. From Neighborhood and Pleasures, to adidas and Nike, think of a brand, they probably have it. If you didn’t already pick it up from the brands, HAL sell clothing and shoes, both providing the best of the best. The staff are great, creating a friendly environment and providing great service. The small boutique doesn’t bring around many sales, but like all of the shops I’m talking about today, with every purchase, you recieve a large amount of stickers. This store has a 4.5 star rating (out of 5) and I can definitely back this up and agree.

HAL

The next shop I’ll be talking about is not far from Highs and Lows and just crosses the line of Perth into Northbridge. This shop has a wide range of locations, but the true authentic stuff is at 6/189 William Street, in the arcade connecting the carpark and the street and is none other than Street X. This shop is one of the truest Aussie shops out there and are mainly a clothing company. STX mainly provide their own beatiful products, but also provide apparel from brands like Raised By Wolves, Foulplay and Have A Good Time. STX is well known to sales, and even when sales aren’t on, you might be able to get a good deal. Like HAL, the staff are chill and create that warm feeling to be involved in the shop. After every purchase, STX also gives stickers and sometimes a tote bag, which definitely makes me want to go back there. Proving the shop is even better, STX has a rating of 4.3, but I think it should be higher and the environment definitely is part of the reason.

STX

Last, but not least, lets now talk about the underground hideout that changes through the seasons. If I was looking to hit the city, I would generally get off at Elizabeth Quay bus station, meet up with my friend(s) and then make my way to this shop, on the way to Hay Street and the other stores. Anyone with a small amount of city shops should already know this shop by now, but if you don’t, I welcome you to Lo-Fi, a mainly clothing store located at 18 Howard Street.  Lo-Fi has a lot of casual brands such as Buttergoods, Brain Dead and Only, and its own clothing. Lo-Fi is a chill shop with a similar mood to the others and is the Goldilocks of the other shops mentioned with sales – there isn’t heaps of sales, but its not like they come every millenium. Lo-Fi also gives stickers with every purchase and like the other shops, you might be able to pull off a good deal. Lo-Fi is rated 4.6 and once again, it’s the feel of the shop and the friendly staff that give it this score.

That’s all the shops for today and I hope you learnt some stuff about these shops and what they have there. Don’t forget to check out these shops on social media and give them a visit. If you to keep up with my blogs, follow me on Instagram, @luc.ore_ and you can keep updated. Thanks for reading!
